For wine lovers, her husband Orlando's wine cellar,
located next to Piazza del Campo in Siena's historic center, dates back to
the 1200's. It contains a collection starting from 1941 of about 900
bottles of Italian wines (over 500 bottles from different Chianti
wineries) and boasts a spectacular rainwater well. There is neither
tasting nor selling of this exclusive collection. Visits by appointment
only, for their guests. | |

minute walk from the bus terminal, a 10 minute walk into the famous town
square - Piazza del Campo, nearby to numerous museums, churches, family
delicatessians and restaurants famous for their home cooking, good Chianti
wines and affordable menus. Located across from the Italian National
Enoteca and open-air Wednesday market of 250 vendors from all over
Tuscany. A unique experience of unhurried hospitality and warm, caring assistance in English, especially for extended stays. |
